Fabric, fit and sample checks
Define the intended use and layering allowance, then specify collar or hood, lining, zipper and pocket construction. Review sleeve mobility, closure operation and hem adjustment on the sample. If water resistance or another performance claim is required, agree an applicable test and result before making that claim.
Prepare a quotation request
Send your reference style or tech pack, fabric direction, size chart, artwork and quantities by colour and size. Tell us the destination market and requested schedule. Material availability, sampling work, minimum quantities and timing are confirmed for the agreed specification.
Compare fabric references and decoration techniques. Use OEM production for your defined specification or discuss ODM development from a reference style. Review sample approval before bulk production, then send your project brief for a quotation.
How it works
Design & development
Start with a tech pack or reference sample to confirm fit, fabrics, construction and branding.
Sampling & production
Turn written specifications into production plans through sample revisions and pre-production approval.
Quality inspection
Check measurements, workmanship, appearance and packing against approved samples and order specifications.
Packing & shipping
Confirm labels, cartons and shipment documents, then agree delivery arrangements for your destination and schedule.
FAQ
What information is needed to start a quotation?
Send the product type, reference sample or tech pack, target fit and size range, fabric composition and weight, colours, artwork, labels, packaging, quantity by style and colour, destination and required arrival window. Mark any unknowns so alternatives can be priced separately.
Ask the quotation to distinguish sample fees, material minimums, decoration, testing, freight and payment terms. The final price and schedule depend on the approved specification and quantity breakdown. See the OEM buyer guide for a comparison checklist.
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no reliable single MOQ for every garment. The minimum may be set per style, colour, fabric order or decoration method. Custom dyeing, trims and printing can each introduce a separate material or processing minimum.
Share the style, fabric, colour count and target quantity, then request the minimum and price break for each option in writing. Ask whether sizes can be mixed within one colour and what happens if the final breakdown changes.
Can I approve a sample before bulk production?
Yes. Review a physical sample for fit, measurements, fabric, colour, seam construction, decoration, labels and packaging. Record corrections against a dated specification and request a revised sample where the change affects the finished garment.
Before bulk approval, identify the approved sample version and matching size chart, colour and material references. Changes after approval should be assessed for cost and timing before production proceeds. The sampling workflow explains the handoff.
Do you support OEM, ODM and private-label production?
OEM usually starts from your approved design or sample; ODM involves development from a brief with agreed design responsibilities. Private-label work may add logos, labels, trims and packaging to an approved product specification.
For each route, confirm who supplies patterns and artwork, who owns approved files, how revisions are authorised and which processes are handled at the stated site or by specialist partners. Feasibility, minimums and schedule depend on the garment and should be confirmed in the written quotation. Compare the OEM and ODM service pages.
