A golf club uniform order combines garment development with allocation. The shirt can be correct while the order still fails because the size mix, crest version or individual packing is wrong. Give the supplier a controlled list of garments and recipients rather than a total piece count alone.

Separate wearer needs from the visual identity

List staff, teams, events or other groups that need clothing and identify any differences in fit or use. Confirm the size chart through a sample or size set before collecting final selections. A size letter from another brand is not a reliable measurement reference.

Freeze the quantity breakdown by style, colour and size. If individual allocation is needed, maintain a separate recipient list linked to those rows. Agree who is responsible for checking late changes before the order is released.

Approve one version of the club crest

Provide authorised artwork, actual dimensions and colour references. Fine lettering may need adjustment for the selected decoration method. Review a physical strike-off or embroidered sample at its final size, then approve placement on the garment.

  • Identify whether the crest appears on chest, sleeve or another position.
  • Record sponsor marks separately from the club identity.
  • Specify any names, roles or numbers and their spelling.
  • Check contrast on every garment colour.

Do not assume approval of a digital mock-up establishes stitch quality or print appearance on the actual material.

Plan distribution and replacement orders

Decide whether garments are packed by size, team, person or delivery location. Align garment labels, bag labels and the packing list. For an event, work backward from the required receiving date and separate production completion from transport and local distribution.

Keep the approved specification, colour reference and decoration file for repeat purchasing. Ask how fabric availability and new dye lots will be checked. A repeat style code does not guarantee that the original material remains available.

Questions for club purchasers

Can members choose sizes after bulk production starts?

Agree a final submission deadline. Late changes may affect material allocation, packing and commercial terms.

Should spare garments be ordered?

Base that decision on expected additions, replacements and the budget. Ask about reorder feasibility before deciding how many spares to hold.

Use the repeat-order checklist and send your club apparel schedule and crest with the size-colour allocation.
